I'm interested in strange viewpoints in painting that seem strange because they are not usually used. Here the point of view is from the figure in the painting looking down at their feet and their shadow in front of them from the low sun behind them. The viewer then feels as if they themselves are the figure.
We visually experience our lives like this from our point of view but life is rarely represented like this in painting as opposed to literature.
